Whitmore Lake occupies an area of 667 acres at the junction of Washtenaw and Livingston counties, about 20 minutes from Ann Arbor. Locals say that Whitmore Lake is definitely the best in Washtenaw County due to its beautiful natural scenery combined with its proximity to the beautiful town center. Every summer, many people find fun in fishing, jet skiing, and all kinds of activities on the lake!
The northwestern shore of the lake is a public area with a dock for viewing. You can also connect your own boats to the sea from this area! On Whitmore Lake, one can observe activities like fishing, boating, swimming, sailing, and more!

Gull Lake was voted by readers of mlive.com as the best inland lake in southwestern Michigan. It is known for boating, sailing, water depth, and the beautiful houses on the lakeshore.
